Khumbulani holds a degree in Rural and Urban Planning and a Masters in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge in England as well as a Masters in Construction Management (Specialising in Real Estate) from the University of Pretoria. He began his career as a Town Planning Officer in Zimbabwe, then moved into real estate practice before spending 15 years with Old Mutual, rising from investment analyst to chief property manager. Khumbulani worked for International Housing Solutions before joining TUHF in 2009.
